FAQs: The Vita Programme

If your question hasn't been answered below, a member of our team would be happy to help via email: hello@chorus-life.com

How do I know if the Vita Programme is right for me?

The programme is designed for the early years of retirement — when work’s structure has ended (or is loosening), and long-term patterns are still forming. The timing is right if you’re actively thinking about how you want to live in this next chapter and are willing to commit time and attention over six months.

I’m still working part-time — can I join?

Possibly. Many participants are transitioning gradually. What matters most is that you can attend the workshops and sessions, and that you’re mentally in a “designing what’s next” phase rather than fully immersed in full-time work.

I already exercise and try to stay healthy — will this still add value?

Often, yes. Many people are doing good things in isolation but lack an integrated structure. The programme connects locomotion, vitality, cognition, psychological health and sensory health into one coherent system that considers healthy ageing from all perspectives and is easier to sustain.

I have an injury or ongoing health condition — can I still take part?

In many cases, yes. The programme is non-medical and does not provide treatment or diagnosis. We discuss any relevant health considerations during the introductory call to ensure it’s appropriate and safe for you.

How much time does the programme realistically require?

There are two in-person workshops (3.5 days and 1.5 days) and ten fortnightly two-hour sessions across months two to six. Outside sessions, you’ll be applying and refining your personal plan within everyday life. The programme is designed to integrate into life — not dominate it — but it does require real engagement.

Why is the programme six months long?

Sustainable change requires time to experiment, refine, and embed new routines. Six months allows habits to form in a realistic way.

What if I miss a Coxera session?

Attending sessions is important, but occasional absences don’t automatically exclude you. We help you stay aligned with the programme structure wherever possible.

Is this group-based or individual?

It is cohort-based. You build your own personal system, but move through the six months with a small group. The cohort provides momentum and accountability — not pressure or forced sharing.

What results should I realistically expect?

The programme is designed to strengthen long-term capability across the five pillars of vitality. You can expect to leave with improved energy and resilience, a clearer understanding of your strengths and priorities, and a sustainable personal system you can carry forward. That said, we do not promise transformation or medical outcomes — the focus is sustainable structure and measurable progress over time, and ultimately you will get out from the programme what you put in.

Will I be told exactly what to do in areas like exercise or nutrition?

During the in-person workshops, subject-matter experts deliver in-depth, interactive sessions across each pillar. These sessions are designed to help you understand what matters, why it matters, and what practical options exist. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, explore your own priorities, and deepen your understanding. For those who want to go further, we also signpost trusted resources and further reading. However, the programme does not provide personalised 1:1 prescriptions or clinical advice. You are responsible for building a plan that fits your goals, preferences, and circumstances, using the structure and guidance provided. If you decide you want more specialised or individual support in a particular area, we can suggest appropriate professionals who work privately outside the programme.

Can I “fail” the assessments?

No! Vita assessments establish a personal baseline and help you to track your own progress. They are tools for reflection and direction, not judgement.

Is this a medical or therapeutic programme?

No. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or personalised clinical advice. It focuses on building everyday capability and sits upstream of healthcare.

Can I continue working with my PT or other professionals?

Yes. Many participants do. The programme is designed to complement existing support.

How much does it cost?

The Vita Programme costs £2,100. The fee reflects a structured, six-month, in-person programme that includes 60 hours of expert facilitation, assessments, workshops, and small-group sessions, plus programme materials and high-end catering. It is a finite, high-touch experience designed to create long-term change.

What happens if I need to withdraw?

Clear cancellation terms are provided before enrolment so you can make an informed decision. Because the programme is cohort-based and time-bound, flexibility is limited, but situations are handled thoughtfully and fairly.

What happens on the introductory call?

The introductory call is a mutual exploration. We discuss your current stage of life, what you’re looking for, and whether the programme is a strong fit. We also answer any questions you might have. There is no obligation to commit to the programme on the call.

What happens after the call?

You may be invited to join, placed on a waitlist, or we may agree that it’s not the right time. We aim to be clear and straightforward in every case.

Where are the workshops and sessions held?

In 2026, all in-person workshops and Coxera sessions will be held in the Winchester area. Venues are chosen to feel calm, welcoming, and easy to access, with parking and public transport options nearby. Full venue details are shared in the introductory call. If you are travelling from further afield and don't want to travel to and from Winchester for each day of the workshops, we’re happy to suggest local accommodation options.

How many people are in each cohort?

Coxera sessions are capped at 15 participants. This keeps the group small enough for meaningful discussion, accountability, and individual reflection, while still creating shared momentum. At the Foundation and Review Workshops, up to four Coxera groups come together. This creates a broader sense of energy and community at key moments in the programme, while your core group of 15 remains your consistent base throughout the six months. The structure is designed to balance intimacy and momentum — small enough to feel personal, large enough to feel purposeful.
