Most people approaching retirement spend years planning the financial side of the transition. They work out how much they need, how their investments are structured, and what income will support them in the years ahead. 

Far fewer step back to think deliberately about how they want to maintain their health, energy, and engagement with life over the decades ahead. 

Yet those factors will shape your quality of life just as much as financial security. 

The Vita Programme addresses this gap. Over six months, you'll develop your Vita Strategy — a clear personal plan for maintaining health, energy, and fulfilment in the years ahead.

Your six-month journey

The Vita Programme is structured over six months, combining focused in-person workshops with sustained small-group support.

Start Strong

The programme begins with two in-person workshops (3.5 days, followed by 1.5 days two weeks later). This is a focused time to step back, think clearly, and set direction for the months ahead.

During this time you will:

  • Complete Vita Assessments to establish your baseline
  • Learn from experts across five pillars of healthy ageing
  • Connect with your cohort
  • Design a personal plan shaped around your goals and life

Build Momentum

Following the workshops, you move into a structured rhythm of fortnightly small-group Coxera sessions. This is where insight and ideas turn into action, and action turns into sustained changes. 

These sessions help you:

  • Translate your personal plan into sustainable routines
  • Identify and remove friction or obstacles early 
  • Refine and strengthen what's working
  • Maintain steady momentum with the support of your cohort

Celebrate Progress

Vita Assessments are repeated throughout the programme, so you can see your progress across five pillars of healthy ageing. Over time, the data helps you understand how your mind and body respond to change.

You will:

  • Track measurable changes in your Vita score
  • See where you're improving and where to focus next
  • Understand what is driving your progress
  • Leave with a clear, evidence-backed foundation for the years ahead

The Vita Programme is structured around the World Health Organisation's framework for healthy ageing, which identifies five pillars that shape quality of life as we age. 

You’ll learn from experts in each pillar, and build a personal plan that supports all five — shaped around your priorities and how you want to live in retirement.
